I'm a fan and friend of Kay but before this comment degrades into a "how could you", I've been around the bend as an admin, an artist, and a general viewer. I understand perspectives, even the ones I cannot empathize or support. Therefore I want to take into question what is going on before I let my emotions get the best of me.
First, if what you say is true and you would like to engage in mature and intelligent conversation, creating a hate account is definitely not the way to go. Now, if letting this go feels unfair you cannot get the last word, Kay personally has to oblige to this fact daily. She has to go through extremely insulting remarks on a near daily basis. She has quite a number of serious life events that deserve her friends and viewers to go easy on her. But despite this she does not talk about it publicly to gain empathy. Despite the fact the hate mail and notes were unprovoked and painful, she does not respond negatively to many of them even under such duress.
In a nutshell, we are all responsible for our own actions. Rather than focusing solely on how Kay replied, read what you've written to her and ask if that's what you would like to hear from anyone. Also in regards to the logical discussion on why it is wrong to draw art or poses from photographs, I personally am upset that someone could hurt a friend as sweet as her over something as trivial as this.

You're right, it's definitely not. But do you wonder or question if you could you have addressed yourself in a manner or conversed with her in a manner that could have led to a better understanding of art and other opinions? Yes you could have, and could have agreed to disagree without wasting either of your time and energy.
People disagree all the time about what is humane or not, but the conversation only degrades when the other feels the other is stupid for disagreeing with you. If you are worried about the photgraphic poses, express it in a manner that communicates you respect her opinion as well. Because when you refuse to respect any opinions other than your own you close off everyone except your carbon copy.
The last thing I want to say is that while she does have many fans, not every fan agrees with everything she says and does. This is a common myth that I understand only too well as I've received that lame excuse from others who have hated me and my opinions. Many may feel that popularity comes with "mindless" minions that agree with everything I say because I'm the head honcho. This is further from the truth, because the fans, rather than focusing on the disagreement, focus on the commonalities and similarities.
In this case, I implore you and every other person who wishes Kay ill leave my friend alone and agree to disagree with opinions.
Because if you can't handle differences in people, chances are you won't be able to learn and grow into a sociable and mature adult.

You know, I used to be a big fan of yours, I very much enjoyed your art, but I learned what a rude, egotistical person you were, and it sickened me, good thing your fangirls don't know, they probably wouldn't care, they'd continue to drool over your simple lines that you call art. I mean, who knows how many pictures you've traced over? My friends and I have only found a couple that you've 'referenced', but I'm sure we'll find more. Most people cite their sources, I guess you think you're too good for that, DA wont ban you because you bring in so many site visits, you should have been banned already for what we've found.
